584 Nha Trang fish sauce – The flying flavor

 

Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province, is famous for not only tourism but also specialities including fish sauce. This product has long been resonated and made a great conquest both in domestic and foreign market. Among more than 100 fish sauce producers in local is 584 Nha Trang SeaProduct Joint Stock Company. This 35-years-old company is also the first fish sauce producer that applied successfully Food Safety Management System ISO 22000.

584 Nha Trang SeaProduct Joint Stock Company was established in 1977 and was formerly a State-owned enterprise (SOEs) under the supervisor of the Ministry of Fisheries named Nha Trang Fisheries Factory, which main responsibility was producing fish sauce and other SeaProducts.

The Company has overcome the hardest time when the national economy shifted from subsidy to market mechanism. Now the Company’s growth rate is about 15~20% yearly. The Company can produce 4 million liters and 4 million bottles of fish sauce of all types.

Anchovies in Nha Trang and Truong Sa sea waters are considered as one of the highest quality materials for making traditional fish sauce. Inheriting the traditional process of making fish sauce as well as trying to combine with new method, the Company has created such characteristic fish sauce. That is, the Company still keeps the traditional flavor and also can create different species of fish sauce to meet current customer’s demand.

Recently, the appearance of industrial fish sauce has affected a lot to domestic fish sauce market. 584 Nha Trang SeaProduct Joint Stock Company was still steadfast with traditional fish sauce producing. However, the Company has reviewed its product ranges and found way to increase quality in order to meet consumers’ requirements and promote its brandname. The Company, thus, could stay strong in the competition.

In order to ensure food safety as well as product quality, Engineering Division was established. One of the main responsibilities of this department is checking and monitoring anchovy materials from the first step of buying to the final stage of releasing finished products. Therefore, anchovies are always ensured to be in the best quality for producing process.

 For many continuous years, 584 Nha Trang fish sauce has won “High Quality Vietnamese Goods” title, Food Safety Awards, Golden Cup Awards, Golden Star Awards and many other noble titles.

Always keep trying to innovate and complete the product list, the Company wish to create new products with the aim of meeting different customers’ demands. Up to now, there are about 30 types of fish sauce being sold at almost provinces and supermarket systems in the country. Some products are on their first step to be available in neighbor markets such as Laos, Cambodia and Hong Kong.

Recently, in the High Quality Vietnamese Goods Fair belonged to Nha Trang Sea Festival 2013, the Company was the only one in Khanh Hoa province that won “High Quality Vietnamese Goods” title among many enterprises attended this Fair. During the Fair, the Company had a very good chance to introduce its products such as high protein fish sauce “Huong Bien” 400 N and 600 N, less-salty fish sauce “Vi Ngon” and “Bien Bac” which suited more for customers’ taste.

With its distinct flavor, delicious taste and iridescent golden brown color, 584 Nha Trang fish sauce has gradually make an impress on domestic consumers and tourists’ mind. The slogan of the Company is “584 Nha Trang fish sauce – Safety, Quality and Nutrition”.
